You’ll have a BEng or MEng Civil / Structural Engineering or Engineering Design and commercial experience, or similar. We’re looking for a self-starter who has excellent communication and organisation skills.You will be a good team player who will enjoy working as part of our dynamic, growing team. A good knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures is essential and the ability to design to British Standards or Eurocodes. Experience with computer software is desirable – notably TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS.This is permanent position and you’ll have the opportunity to take on a variety of projects and be involved in all aspects from scheme design, through to construction on site.You will undertake site visits throughout Bristol in relation to extension and refurbishment, as well as working on existing-build schemes, and have a good understanding of procurement and contracts and how to achieve high quality results.You must be able to use ladders and scaffolds to access works.
