The Monitoring, Strategic Data and Evidence Centre is looking for a committed staff member with robust skills in data management, supply chain analysis and monitoring of results, with a specific focus on sustainability in the supply chain. Our Center works in collaboration across many colleagues and levels. Thus, being a good communicator as well as thriving when working in a team is essential.

How can you make a difference?

Under the supervision of the Supply Chain Officer, this position supports the generation of supply chain intelligence and participates in UNICEF SD’s sustainability management efforts as a core sustainability project member.

  • Provide required statistics for the Director’s Office, including Supply Annual Reports and reports for oversight activities, ensuring the accuracy of the data and creating the required tools for data validation.
  • Support the development of required sustainability indicators and statistics and provide relevant updates to the calculations of results.
  • Assist in the development of a sustainability database with internal and external datasets related to sustainability data management. This data will be used for analysis, including tools for data validation, monitoring, reporting, supply chain visibility, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the Sustainable Markets Centre on sustainability data scoping, coordination, and management for internal and external use.
  • Support the interdepartmental working group on sustainability data.
  • Review, analyze, test, and maintain expertise on all Supply Division’s SAP reports and dashboards. In collaboration with the IT department, test and review dashboards based on reporting requirements from the Supply Division, ensuring the accuracy of output and the usefulness of the tools.
  • Prepare and maintain user manuals and documentation for SD reporting, monitoring, and planning tools.
  • Participate in the development, testing, and implementation of business process improvements.
  • Provide any other assistance as required by the supervisor.

 The following minimum requirements:

  • Education: Completion of secondary education
  • Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of related work experience.
    • A Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree from a recognized academic institution may be considered in lieu of three or four years of related work experience respectively. 
  • Good stakeholders’ management skills including the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of sustainability data management.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system
  • Super-user level of skill in MS Excel and/or working knowledge of Power Bi or other data visualization tools.
  • Ability to develop and maintain an effective network of working relationships.
  • Ability to deliver quality work that is timely, complete, and accurate with minimum supervision.

  • Language: Fluency in English 
  • Valid work permit and residency in Denmark at the time of submitting the application. Note that the selected candidate is responsible for obtaining any required extension of their residency permit as an extension cannot be dependent on employment with UNICEF

  • Education: University course work or diploma in business, economics, econometrics, statistics, supply chain, sustainability, or related field.
  • Language: Proficiency in French.
