Position overview

We are looking for two motivated Policy Interns to join our office in Brussels for 9 months. In this role you will support the work of the policy team with the daily policy monitoring, analysis and provision of insight on key regulatory issues.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Monitoring EU policy developments contribute to running our policy platform,
  • Creating concise summaries of European Parliament and Council meetings,
  • Supporting the publication of information on the OPP platform and the curation of newsletters,
  • Summarising key policy developments in the interest of clients,
  • Supporting senior colleagues as required, depending on the policy cycles.
  • Participating actively in team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

The ideal candidate would meet the following criteria:

  • Have a relevant degree related to European policies, economics, law, social sciences or or other relevant area,
  • Have prior experience monitoring EU policy developments,
  • Demonstrate interest in one or more policy fields, preferably around financial services or transport,
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the functioning of the European Union,
  • Have strong writing skills in English (fluent),
  • Be curious and eager to learn more about policies,
  • Have a solid attention to detail,
  • Be able to keep up in a fast-paced environment,
  • Have interpersonal skills and can integrate within a multicultural team.
