Institutional and Corporate Partnership Development Advisor – Asia
(International Office Asia)
Mission
The position will take an entrepreneurial and front ending approach to growing Institutional and corporate partnerships for SOS Children’s Villages in the region by developing regional partnerships and building fundraising capacities in Asia.
Location: International Office Region-Asia, Faridabad, India or Asian Member Associations where SOS Children’s Villages is located.
Contract Period: One year (Renewable)
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Create opportunities and build regional Institutional and corporate partnerships by collaborating with institutional and corporate donors, foundations etc. in order to contribute to financial sustainability of the member associations in Asia.
- Build fundraising capacities in the member associations in Asia in order to grow income by providing hands on support and strategic advice as required.
- Inspire countries in Asia to adopt a business development and market orientation approach supplemented with an effective partnership strategy to diversify fundraising revenues.
- Collaborate with the fundraising teams in the International Office to expand global corporate partnerships and institutional funding in Asia.
- Coordinate reporting requirements for global corporate partnerships of SOSCVI and implementation of institutional grants in close coordination with member associations in Asia, International office and funding associations.
Requirements
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Desired qualification is Bachelors in development/social sciences (Sociology, Development studies, International Relations or related field)/ Business Administration.
- Should have work-experience of 6-10 years in Institutional/Corporate Fundraising or program implementation in non-profit organisations in Asian countries. International/regional exposure in this area will be an added advantage.
- Thorough understanding of program design and development especially in Child Rights, Child Protection, Education, Livelihoods, Gender etc.
- Proven ability to coordinate and write winning proposals for large institutional donors in Asia.
- Understanding of and familiarity with the institutional (bi-multi-lateral, foundation) and CSR donor landscape and practices in the Asia region and internationally. Must be quick to spot trends and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Exposure to Salesforce and Power BI.
