The Role

The People and Culture Advisor encompasses the provision of generalist advice and guidance on matters relating to UMFC’s people and culture. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for addressing complex HR issues.

Your Experience

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline (or studying towards) is desirable.
  • Experience in resolving complex HR matters, including dismissals and interpersonal conflicts, coupled with a sound understanding of contemporary HR principles and relevant legislation will be highly desirable.
  • Expertise in providing insightful advice on policies and procedures will be crucial. You will also excel in coaching managers and employees, addressing grievances, and effectively managing employee misconduct and performance issues. Your ability to navigate these responsibilities with ease will be key to your success in this role.
