The State Water Resources Control Board’s Division of Financial Assistance has an opening for a Senior Water Resource Control Engineer to lead the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program. The position resides in the CalEPA Building at 1001 I Street, 16th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814.

Duties:

Under the direction of a Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer and consistent with good customer service practices and the goals of the State and Regional Board’s Strategic Plan, the Senior Water Resource Control Engineer is responsible for directly supervising technical staff that performs a variety of complex professional tasks related to planning, design, construction, management, and implementation of water quality protection and improvement projects.

Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.

Pay: $11,104.00 – $13,898.00 per month
