We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers with excellent availability to join our dedicated team in Bowen Hills. What You’ll Do

Providing Community Access and support to clients in our Learning and Lifestyle centre, you will assist people with disabilities by organising activities designed to help develop practical life skills and to identify their goals for daily living, community participation, learning and building relationships – and of course having fun!

  • Assisting with personal care as required, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections.
  • Supporting daily activities, such as going for walks, attending movies, or accompanying appointments.
  • Helping maintain connections with family, friends, and services.

What We Look For

  • Experience and empathy in providing high-quality support and fostering independence for clients.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings and weekends.
  • Physical capability for manual handling tasks.
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Good computer skills and experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred but not essential: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).

Required Clearances

  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work).
  • Open Driver’s License with comprehensive insurance.
