About the opportunity

Join our dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality administrative support across our Blackburn and Croydon sites. We are committed to enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery, ensuring that our systems and processes are not only effective but also adaptable to the evolving needs of our business.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader, Administration to oversee the administration function for our Eastern Melbourne locations. Based at our Blackburn site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our administrative systems and processes operate smoothly and efficiently.

As a Team Leader, you will:

  • Lead and support a team of Administration Officers in the East, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Oversee and enhance administrative systems and processes, driving improvements in efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement systems that address business needs and service development requirements.
  • Ensure that all administrative functions align with service delivery goals and maintain accountability for statutory and reporting obligations.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to implement changes effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate administrative operations, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.

About you

You will have a Bachelor level degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline (preferred). You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing administrative functions and teams. (essential)
  • Experience in a community services organisation. (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and deadlines for self and team members and work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
  • Ability exercise initiative and judgment where practices and direction are not clearly defined.
  • Ability to problem solve and effectively manage feedback.
