The Opportunity

We are seeking a (Grade 2) Year 1-4 Full time Accredited Exercise Physiologist (1.0FTE) in a temporary contract role till 10th October 2025 at our Hoppers Crossing campus.

Classified under Allied Health Professional Award. Salary range between $47.00 and $54.05 per hour depending on skills and experience plus 11.5% super + Salary packaging benefits.

You will work alongside our experienced Cardiac Rehab Nurse in implementing our busy cardiac rehabilitation program. You will work in a multidisciplinary allied health team to give meaningful care to our cardiac clients.

You will make a difference by

  • Working collaboratively with the Cardiac Rehab, Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology teams to plan service delivery across the Wyndham, Brimbank and Hobsons Bay communities.
  • Delivering meaningful Exercise Physiology services to clients through best practice assessment and interventions that will address client needs and priorities
  • Enhancing client and service outcomes through effective evaluation and reflective supports.

To succeed, you will need

  • Graduate or post-graduate degree in Exercise Physiology
  • Accreditation with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
  • Experience or interest in working in a community health setting.
  • Identified experience working autonomously and or within a team environment.
  • Minimum 3-year experience working as an Exercise Physiologist
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based programs that meet the needs of our client base.
  • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current and valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check and driver’s licence.
