Are you passionate about supporting Aboriginal communities and making a difference in the lives of individuals and families experiencing domestic, family, and sexual violence?

Anglicare seeks a dedicated and experienced Aboriginal Identified Case Manager to join our team and provide trauma-informed, culturally inclusive case management to those in need.

As an Experienced DFSV Case Manager, you will deliver client-focused support and advocacy to Aboriginal individuals and families.

Your role will involve working closely with clients to develop and implement tailored case plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively and compassionately.

You will collaborate with various services and stakeholders to provide comprehensive support, reduce risks, and promote positive change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct client interviews, identify needs, and develop personalised case plans.
  • Provide ongoing support, mentoring, and client advocacy, including home visits and referrals.
  • Work collaboratively with external services to ensure holistic care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all standards and legislative requirements.
  • Engage in professional development and participate in the trauma-informed Sanctuary Model.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Diploma of Community Services or equivalent; degree qualifications preferred
  • At least two years of experience in a domestic, family, and sexual violence-related role
  • Strong experience working with Aboriginal communities and organisations
  • Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics, complexities, and legal and social welfare consequences of DFSV
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and organisational skills
