To ensure the safety and
security of the organization’s premises, personnel, and assets by maintaining a
vigilant presence, enforcing security protocols, and responding promptly to
incidents as part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining a secure
environment.  

The Female Searcher plays a crucial role in
maintaining security by conducting thorough and respectful searches of female
individuals entering controlled areas. This position ensures compliance with security
protocols while demonstrating professionalism and sensitivity. The Female
Searcher contributes to creating a safe environment for all stakeholders by
identifying and mitigating potential security risks through diligent search
procedures.

General
Duties
Adhere strictly to established search procedures and protocols.
Manage and maintain search equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any issues for maintenance or replacement.
Uphold ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of the job role.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations regarding search procedures.
Accurately document search activities, findings, and incidents, and report them promptly to designated authorities.
Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Coordinate search activities efficiently and address any operational issues or concerns collaboratively.
Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols and providing support as required to ensure safety and security.

Specific Duties:
Execute search procedures according to specified guidelines, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy.
Search all female guests and visitors before admitting them to IRC premises.
Receive female visitors entering the office and direct them to the correct destination.
Use search equipment responsibly and maintain equipment functionality.
participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance search techniques and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
Continuously improve skills related to security and search procedures.
Maintain confidentiality regarding search activities and findings.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize risks associated with search procedures and maintain a safe environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School
Years of Experience: 2-3 years’ experience of female searcher are relevant org or INGOs.
Skills: Superior physical fitness including an ability to work long hours.
Technical Competency: Proficiency in using CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.
Ability to monitor and analyse security feeds.
Knowledge of access control systems (e.g., key cards, biometric systems).
Training in emergency procedures and crisis management.
Communication and reporting skills
Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English
Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet) an advantage
Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background
