About the role

The position of Quality Improvement Lead is a key leadership position that works cross organisationally to drive cohealths centralised systems for continuous quality improvement. This role will work in partnership with key stakeholders within the Services Networks, Our Quality Team and client experience coworkers to significantly evolve cohealth’s approach to continuous quality improvement (CQI). The role of Quality Improvement Lead will sit within the Quality team and report to the Senior Manager Quality and Continuous Improvement.

Your duties include:

  • Lead the development and ongoing management of cohealth’s system of Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Design systems and tools to ensure quality improvements at the program level are planned, reported and monitored utilising standardised tools and processes
  • Work with the network directors to set agreed annual performance targets for improvement
  • Increase the understanding and capability of response leaders in processes for driving improvement in quality and safety
  • Create opportunities for quality improvement learnings to be shared across the organisation and externally as appropriate

Our ideal candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a quality improvement/management role within a health care setting
  • A qualification or certification in improvement methodology (IHI improvement science, lean six sigma etc)
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working within measurable and effective organisation wide Continuous Quality Improvement methodologies
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate successfully with individuals and teams (at all levels including senior executives and funders), verbally and written, including supporting presentations and facilitation workshops.
