The Alannah & Madeline Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to keeping children and young people free from violence and trauma wherever they live, learn and play. Through Care, Prevention and Advocacy programs, we fight for their right to be safe, so their future is strong.

We also support Dolly’s Dream to help change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

The role:

Reporting to the Head of Program, TraCS, this a full-time 2-year contract role providing administrative support and day-to-day coordination to the Trauma Informed Programs team.

You would be responsible for:

  • Respond to service enquiries from a diverse range of kindergartens, early years services and schools.
  • Manage service workflows from enquiry, to quote, to acceptance, to delivery and receipt of payment.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, Finance and Operations to ensure information dataflows
  • Work closely with Trauma Informed Programs leadership to manage service demand
  • Support the documentation, retention and management of key program information and coordination of team meetings including agendas, minutes and key actions.

Experience required:

  • Previous experience in program operations or administrative support ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and enduring relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously on clearly defined projects, and in a small team.
  • Well-developed communication skills and maturity to relate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
