Postdoctoral, Research assistant and PhD positions in neuromorphic engineering and analog circuit design are available. The research focuses on developing novel ultra-low-power neuromorphic electronics inspired by molecular and synthetic biology. The appointment is for up to three years.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Development and building spiking molecular networks (SMN) employing stochastic models. These networks should be trainable utilizing innovative AI algorithms, drawing inspiration from genetic algorithm. The SMN circuits will be interfaced with real-world applications. Chip and subsystem-level design from concept to silicon production, including requirements and specifications, architectural development, transistor-level design, SPICE, Matlab, and Verilog modeling and simulation, layout supervision, post-layout simulation, chip-level verification, and lab validation. Starting dates are flexible throughout 2024 with competitive salary. Publish your findings in scientific journals and present your results at international conferences

Job Requirements:

  • PhD/MSc/B.Sc. in electrical engineering and a strong background in analog circuit design. Team player, details & results oriented with excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a scientific environment and quickly interpret scientific data.
