Here’s where you come in:

As the Director of Humanitarian & Development Learning, you will create a future-focused and effective global learning eco-system through digital/ e-learning and blended learning products and services, which inspires and enables impactful development experiences and shifts in learning mindsets and behaviors for World Vision International’s (WVI) global, regional, and field office Global Programmes & Resources (GPR) and Disaster Management (DM) staff and partner workforce.

You will provide strategic leadership and guidance to World Vision’s Humanitarian and Development Capacity and Capabilities (HDCC) e-learning and blended capacity investment and learning design and delivery. You will manage the implementation of the overall eLearning design and delivery solutions within the technology ecosystem, and contribute to the success of WVI’s Humanitarian & Development Capacity & Capabilities (HDCC) support to GPR, DM, and Field Office staff capacity investment through learning at large.

Requirements include:

  • Masters degree in HR, Organisational Capacity Building, Humanitarian or Development, digital/ e-learning and blended course design, testing, and facilitation in multi-cultural environments with diverse and remote as well as face-to-face audiences
  • At least 10 years of professional expertise backed up by substantial experience in L&D (Training & Development), ideally in a regional or international role and within the Development and Humanitarian Assistance industry
  • 5 years of international field experience in multiple humanitarian and development contexts
  • Excellent English language skills required
  • The position may require the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
