About the role

The Homelessness Residential Services Case Management Program Manager is part of a collaborative team that provides housing and community support to people experiencing homelessness with a history of trauma, economic disadvantage, mental health, AOD and health issues in West and North Melbourne.

This position is responsible for the management of Residential Case Management Services across two short term accommodation sites in West and North Melbourne.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position based in West Melbourne, Victoria. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 7.

You will successfully

  • Develop and implement work practices and procedures that reflect a trauma informed, strength based, client centred practice.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Case Management processes and systems within the portfolio.
  • Develop strategies to improve client satisfaction in relation to service delivery.
  • Supervise and support staff providing services.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of collaboration with Program Mangers and the Business Operations Team within the Homelessness Melbourne Metro Region to create productive relationships to enhance client outcomes.

You will have

  • A degree qualification in social work, social science, psychology, or related field, and extensive relevant experience in the social service sector including management and supervision of staff.
  • A current Victorian Employee Working With Children Check.
  • A valid Victorian Driver Licence.
