We’re delighted to be recruiting for a Grant Programme Manager to join our ambitious Development team.Are you an excellent communicator with experience of Homes England grant funding and the development of new affordable homes?We are looking for someone to lead Abri’s Homes England Grant Programmes (including the Wayfarer Consortium programme) and deliver outstanding results by contributing to the delivery of over 10,000 new affordable homes by 2030.You will work closely with Abri’s Development Team, our Wayfarer Consortium Members and Homes England whilst managing the Abri & Wayfarer Partnership’s affordable housing grant funding development programme, including bids and claims for funding and the preparation of reports on programme delivery, audit programmes and compliance risk.You will confidently lead on all grant funding and compliance related procedures whilst providing oversight, guidance and support to the Grant Programme Team.We’re looking for an excellent communicator with strong commercial awareness and the ability to partner with a variety of external funders, stakeholders and agencies to build on existing relationships and identify new opportunities.Knowledge and experience of the management of Homes England funded affordable housing projects and programmes, grant funding conditions and the Homes England compliance audit is required.It is essential that you are able to interpret and understand complex land contracts, building contracts and development agreements.Someone with the knowledge of the planning process, excellent numerical, analytical skills and the ability to interrogate information and problem solve would be ideal for this opportunity.If you have proven experience of leading a team, strong influencing and communication skills together with personal drive to make a difference, we want to hear from you.Please take a look at the job description below.Abri is a large housing provider who own and manage over 50,000 homes and various community assets, serving 114,000 customers.
