Introduction:
Blumont is looking for several international and national consultancy positions for the management and implementation of the anticipated FCDO Support to the Office of the Chief Adviser in Bangladesh on reform management and strategic communications contract.
The contract will include a three-month inception period with option of twelve month implementation period. Candidates must be available to mobilize within one week of contract award in early December.
Blumont is looking with technical experts with experience in the following:
- Expertise and experience working with national level governments, such as the Office of Prime Minister or President, in developing and/or transitional contexts.
- Experience and expertise in reform management, for example in a Delivery unit at the national level or key ministry.
- Experience of strategic communications by Government entities, including analyzing the operation of strategic communications function, training staff in strategic communications and delivering directly.
- Experience of digital communications and capacity building development for digital communication buy-in.
- Experience in youth engagement through government communications.
Preferred qualifications include:
- An understanding of the functioning of the current Government of Bangladesh.
- An understanding of the media sector in Bangladesh including relevant networks.
- Previous experience conducting assessments and implementing projects on behalf of FCDO or DFID.
- Fluency in Bengali and other local languages.
