Position: Office Assistant 

Are you a meticulous and proactive professional looking to contribute to the seamless administrative operations of a dynamic company? Sameer Africa is seeking a competent Office Assistant to join our team. This role involves undertaking a variety of office support tasks and working diligently under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Organize and Optimize: Efficiently organize the office and assist associates to optimize procedures.
  • Communication Management: Sort and distribute communications in a timely and organized manner.
  • Record Keeping: Create and update records, ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
  • Meeting and Appointment Planning: Schedule and plan meetings and appointments with precision.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor supplies and handle shortages, ensuring seamless office operations.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues promptly.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Reception Duties: Perform receptionist duties when needed, portraying a professional image.
  • Financial Management: Maintain and disburse petty cash efficiently.
Skills
  • Proven experience as an office assistant, clerk, or in another relevant administrative role.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
