We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join the team of this dynamic, fast-paced restaurant located in the heart of London’s iconic Borough Market. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional customer service, and high-quality Drinks & Food. They pride themselves on offering a unique experience that captures the spirit of Borough Market.We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to lead the team, drive service and help grow the business. You’ll be at the forefront of day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service during peak hours while maintaining the highest standards of drinks and customer experience from start to finish.Whats in it for you:

About the job:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Curate and manage the drinks menu, including creating signature cocktails, selecting wines, and maintaining an impressive range of spirits and non-alcoholic options.
  • Train, lead, and motivate a team of bartenders and baristas, ensuring exceptional product knowledge and service standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to pair drinks with the menu, creating synergy between the bar and dining experience.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and licensing regulations are met, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

About you:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role within a quality restaurant or bar
  • Passion for mixology and drinks, with a deep understanding of cocktails, wines, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
