Purpose and Objectives:
With the financial support from the World Bank Group, ADPC has been implementing a five-year project, titled “Climate Adaptation and Resilience Project for South Asia” (CARE). The project aims to create an enabling environment for climate resilience policies and investments across South Asia. This objective will be achieved through enhanced regional cooperation and knowledge exchange for climate resilience and adaptation and mainstreaming of resilience and adaptation in national policies, plans and investments.
To support the WBCAR project, ADPC is engaging an intern to assist team members in various technical and related administrative activities required for the implementation of the project.
Expected Outputs:
• Support the team members with different technical and operational requirements
• Support the team members in administrative tasks as per the requirements of the project
• Assist in ensuring the implementation of workshops and events, including planning, and coordination as per the scope of the project.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Assist in preparing and checking the project administration functions and assistance team members in doing literature search and review and prepare technical notes;
• Preparation, circulation, and maintenance of records and meeting minutes in relation to RGF project administration and implementation;
• Assist team members and other project staff with routine correspondence between project staff, and internal and external organizations and for making international and local travel arrangements, assistance in travel advance settlement;
• Assist in regularly checking the database of project documents in relation to implemented activities and other key documents, e.g. published ToRs, calendar of events and status, progress toward results framework, and technical deadlines;
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director, Risk Governance and Financing.
Working Principles: The intern will report to the Project Director and work closely with Project Manager and maintain close coordination with PIU.
Requirements:
• Minimum of a Master’s degree in environmental sciences, social sciences or any other related fields.
• Well versed with using MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and presentation software such as PowerPoint.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated experience in office functions, general office administration and office maintenance;
• Eagerness to contribute to the team and learn;
• Enthusiastic and willing to work in a multi-cultural environment;
Duty Station: Bangkok, Thailand
Duration: 6 months internship contract with the possibility of extension subject to funds availability and performance.

Condition of payment: USD 320 per month for 6 months upon submission of monthly timesheet.
