The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Deputy Representative Programme, and will be accountable for supporting the effective implementation of programme coordination, budget management, documentation, and reporting. The Programme Specialist (Coordinator) will also ensure that all aspects of the programme run smoothly and efficiently.

Minimum requirements:
Education:
- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: Social Sciences, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or another relevant technical field.
Work Experience:
- Five years of relevant professional work experience is required.
- Experience working in a developing country and in public sector is considered as an asset.
- Strong networking skills.
Language Requirements:
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
