This position is designed to standardize software development practices, optimize resource management, vendor and cross departmental collaboration within the organization. The IT department ensures that software solutions are aligned with strategic business objectives, uphold security and compliance standards, and provide ongoing support and training.

Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst Programmer reporting to Head, IT will be mainly responsible for following duties and responsibilities:

• Manage team and provide technical leadership for implementing the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to achieve digital transformation across multiple business functions;
• Manage IT application administration and operations to ensure  smooth operation of digital transformation across multiple business processes;
• Assess and oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of various software applications and databases; Guide team to develop the proposed application based on design architecture; Help team members to do the critical / complex programming; Monitor and review application development; Prepare test script for user acceptance test and lead the team to conduct user acceptance test; Lead team to deploy the application in server and client’s device properly and ensure smooth functioning of the application; ensure adherence to best practices;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, business goals and deliverables;
• Collaborate with IT application vendors to ensure quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget;
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members;
• Communicate and coordinate with the technical team, functional business users, and support team to ensure quality deliverables;
• Monitor and administer MS SQL Server Database 2019.

Required qualification and experience:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering from a reputed university;
• 8 years of experience in relevant field – Software;
• Must have experience with well-known ERP software applications;
• Must have knowledge in software project management;
• Must have knowledge on backup and recovery following RPO (Recovery point objective) and RTO (Recovery time objective);  
• Must have knowledge in developing web-based applications;
• Good knowledge in Microsoft D365 ERP;
• Good knowledge on large-scale SQL Server database administration and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of developing application in android platform and knowledge in ASP .NET, C#, JAVA, Visual Studio is desirable;
• Good knowledge with Code Repository and Azure Dev-ops;
• Strong communication and supervisory skill;
• Working experience with research-based software application is a plus;
• Business knowledge in Finance, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Human Resource Management (HRM), and Facilities Management is a plus;
• Able to manage the work under stress.
