Job Summary:
The Peace Track Initiative (PTI) is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team in a consultation capacity as a Feminist Grants Officer. As a Grants Officer you will be responsible for the provision of grants to our partners taking into consideration the different rules and requirements of donors and grantees. you will also play a key part in relations with partners, and maintain fluent and smooth communication with them.
- Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for CSO partners, providing ongoing guidance and support.
- Conduct needs assessments and provide targeted capacity-building support to strengthen partners’ project management, financial reporting, and compliance skills.
- Develop and write Grant calls and agreements for our partners and crafting detailed and persuasive grant applications as each project’s needs require.
- Oversee the entire grant process, from applications and selection to disbursement, monitoring, and closure.
- Ensure timely processing of grant agreements, amendments, and disbursements in accordance with organizational policies.
- Maintain comprehensive grant documentation, including grant agreements, partner records, financial reports, and programmatic updates.
- Coordinate with Internal Departments by gathering necessary information and collaborating with various departments to ensure that the grant calls and the applications are comprehensive and accurate.
- Work closely with program managers to track and report on projects.
- Conduct site visits when necessary, attend partner meetings and review to monitor project activities and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
- Ensure Compliance by making sure that all grant applications comply with the relevant regulations and guidelines related to our organization, donors, and grantees.
- Prepare and submit regular grant performance reports, identifying successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage Grant Budgets by overseeing the agreements and the financial aspects of grants, ensuring that all information and reports are correct and that funds are spent appropriately and within budget.
- Build relationships by maintaining good relationships with grantees, partners, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage grant budgets, ensuring alignment between financial expenditures and program activities.
- Review financial reports and expenses submitted by partners, ensuring accuracy and adherence to approved budgets and financial guidelines.
- Post-award management includes financial reconciliation and ensuring that all grant conditions are met.
- Oversee the timely submission of grant, budgets, reports and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Write and design organizational materials.
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field.
- 4 years of experience in grant writing in both languages Arabic and English.
- Strong understanding of feminist principles and commitment to promoting feminist spaces.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and partners(online and in person).
- Strong computer skills: must be competent in the use of Windows, MS Office programs (Word, Excel), email programs, and some other applications.
