Position description
Tyto has an opening for a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to support our client’s growing mission requirements. Successful candidates in this position will collaborate with a diverse group of individuals across the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense while directly contributing to processes that shape government policy. Candidates will gather intelligence on adversary systems and networks using advanced tools, techniques, and tradecraft.
Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include applying intelligence processes and tradecraft to a variety of national security cyber threat problems. You will evaluate, analyze, and synthesize large quantities of data into targeted assessments for the customer.
- Serve in a liaison role at the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force (NCIJTF), with the expectation to balance customer requirements and priorities, while adhering to NCIJTF mission parameters.
- Possess an understanding of US and partner Law Enforcement/Counterintelligence (LE/CI) community functions and how cyber-CI organizations work together.
- As part of a team, you will apply critical thinking and use feedback to improve processes, products, and services.
- You will conduct research to assess future cyber threats to US operations.
- You will prepare and present briefings and written reports for senior leadership and client customers.
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in intelligence, data science, security studies, computer science, cybersecurity, mathematics, systems engineering, operations research and systems analysis, or a closely related field. Other degrees such as political science, international relations, or library science are highly considered with related technical experience.
- Have 10+ years of relevant experience applying research and analysis methodologies to cyber threats or computer network problems.
- Have a strong background using multiple analytic tools, databases, and tradecraft.
- Strong understanding of US and partner Intelligence Community functions and how cyber intelligence organizations work together.
- Have the demonstrated ability to present complex information, concepts, and ideas in a confident and well-organized manner to a wide variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical.
- Hold an active Top Secret security clearance with TS/SCI eligibility. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
- A current Counter-Intelligence Polygraph is required.
