Looking for a supportive company in a market-leading sector in Health and Safety where the Leadership team invest and takes safety seriously?Principal People are exclusively supporting a manufacturing company who are looking for a new member to join the business. The company are looking for a Health and Safety Manager and the position will consist of managing Health and Safety Environmental matters across the site.You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of autonomy within your role to make a difference within the company working and reporting to the supportive Operations Director.The role will be very operational and will involve a lot of ‘hands-on’ HSE Advice throughout the site teams. You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team who are all incredibly engaged towards Health and Safety.The key duties include:
- To carry out operational Health and Safety duties such as risk assessments, method statements and accident investigations on the sites
- Offering appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety and Environmental Matters
- Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety
- Managing the Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental for the site
- Creating positive relationships with the site teams to help improve the HSE Culture across the location
- Conducting site safety training and compiling safety data
