As a Scheduling Coordinator, your tasks will include:
- Overseeing scheduling phone queue and call transfers, arranging patient appointments, updating demographic data, and notifying patients of schedule changes
- Facilitating appointments with the Patient Benefits Coordinator
- Managing scheduling work queues, conducting outgoing registry calls, and supporting other Front Office roles as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- One year’s experience working in a call center, scheduling appointments, and clerical work in a healthcare environment is preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required at a level 9 for bilingual differential pay
- Ability to prioritize work and handle various tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional manner
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Basic knowledge of the Epic systems is preferred
- Basic proficiency in Word and Excel
