Overview

We are currently recruiting a Roving Supply Chain & Operations Coordinator to join our Supply Chain & Operations team.

This is an office-based position in Sudan.

About the Opportunity

The Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of field operations across Sudan especially in a challenging and fluid environment. Roving SCO Coordinator will provide consistent, timely and efficient support to the Sudan SCO team by ensuring SCO and Program collaboration to enable continuity of operations, and gap fill for during the absence of key personnel in different locations.

Your Responsibilities

This role includes the following responsibilities.

  • Operational support- Support in analysing SCO trackers and reports to identify bottlenecks, issues and delays and propose timely solutions
  • Field Visits & On-site Support – Facilitate the identification and resolution of supply chain and operational issues also conduct on-site training and capacity building
  • Procurement Support – Lead in drafting essential documents and provide training, spot checks and support

About You

You will bring the following experience and skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Development, Social Sciences, Humanitarian/Development field and/or equivalent experience in a related field;
  • Previous experience working in Sudan for an international NGO is an advantage
  • Demonstrated excellence in training and capacity-building of specialist and non-specialist staff in Supply Chain Management;
  • Familiarity with donor procurement and supply chain standards, including at least 3 of the following: ECHO, EU, FCDO, USAID, BHA, UNICEF, WHO, WFP, Italian Corporation and Sudan Health Fund Pool Funding and knowledge of donor guidelines.
  • Excellent English writing and communication skills (knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage). Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
