Jiyan Foundation for Human Rights is a charitable organization supporting survivors of human rights violations, defending fundamental freedoms, and promoting democratic values throughout the world. Our programs provide mental health, medical treatment, and other support services to survivors of trauma, terror, domestic violence, and human rights violations.
We are seeking applications for the following position:
Position: Administrative Staff – Receptionist
Status: Full-time employee (40 Hours/Week)
Based: Erbil, KRG – Iraq
Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree.
Reports to: Center Manager (CM), Human Resources Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Receive, document and communicate incoming phone calls.

Schedule and communicate clients’ appointments.

Receive clients and guests of the organization at the reception desk; assist them in finding their way to appointments.

Document patient data and visitor statistics.
-
Assist therapeutic staff in regular and complete documentation of patient data in the patient files and the database.

Assist therapeutic and management staff in monthly documentation of all activities in a report using the resp. Template.
-
Assist administration staff in maintaining a permanent inventory of the organization’s equipment and assets.

Administration tasks.
-
Preparing the Monthly attendance report of the staff.

Helping the HR department with the related tasks.

Preparing the monthly timesheet for all the staff with the help of the finance team.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills
REQUIREMENTS
-
Fluent in Kurdish and English, Arabic is an advantage;
-
Bachelor’s degree in Administration or management or other related departments.

Good computer skills in areas of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Work experience in administration and receptionist (desired).

Experience in working with national and international organizations;
-
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
-
Ability to travel, including multi-day trips.

Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and cooperate with other staff members, centers, and external partners.

Active interest in promoting human rights and social justice.
