About the Role
Join Starlight as Senior Community Manager, responsible for developing and implementing the community fundraising strategy and overseeing the delivery of Starlight’s biggest & multi award winning digital fundraising campaigns Super Swim, as well as Tour de Kids, Stream Raiser, GameChangers and Starlight’s DIY fundraising program.
An exciting role leading a community fundraising team of 5, working collaboratively with the broader Starlight team nationally to deliver acquisition, conversion and retention strategies that drive sustainable income growth and a best-in-class peer-to-peer fundraiser and donor experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project management and execution of national peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns managing a $10m income budget
- Development and implementation of strategies to deliver and grow income targets, fundraiser base and campaign awareness
- Effective management of supplier relationships to ensure high quality, timely and cost-effective delivery of campaigns
- Manage and inspire the Community fundraising team, working collaboratively across internal teams and key stakeholders
- Oversee external agencies to develop & deliver digital acquisition, activation and retention strategies
- Manage and nurture relationships with individual community supporters, event organisers, fundraising platforms and contacts
- Develop, maintain, and support the implementation of processes, procedures, tools, platforms and metrics
About You
- A People Manager with strong end-to-end digital marketing campaign management expertise and experience leading fundraising campaigns, in a not-for-profit organisation
- Experience and knowledge of user experience and web design principles and executing supporter communication journey’s
- Excellent project management skills, including articulation of clear roles & responsibilities, priorities, timelines and budgets
- Solid understanding of business and web metrics with experience in data analytics and platforms.
- Capability working across key acquisition channels
- Relevant Qualification in Business, Digital Marketing or equivalent
