If speculative CVs are sent, no fee will be applicable – please direct all queries to the relevant Resourcing Partner.Marketing CoordinatorManchester AirportAn excellent opportunity has arisen to join Galliford Try as a Marketing Coordinator, based within our Building North West business unit in Manchester, supporting the Proposals Manager and Bid Leads.The successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and preparation of all centrally led ITT (Invitation To Tender) and PQQ (Pre Qualification Questionnaire) submissions, working with the Bid Team and stakeholders from across the division to acquire pertinent information. The role will support the creation of high quality content for work winning activities across various sectors.This role reports to the Proposals Manager.What you will be doing:

  • Provide coordination for strategic and framework bids
  • Producing high-quality, winning proposal documents, including templating, formatting, editing and proof-reading bid content
  • Produce creative and innovative graphics, such as branded bid templates, infographics, capability brochures, presentation slides, organisation charts and other adhoc bespoke artwork
  • Produce delivery team CVs and project case studies which capture Galliford Try’s experience and capabilities
  • Maintenance of the Bid Library, including up-to-date CVs, project sheets, photos and standard responses
  • Support creation of materials for presentations, tender interviews and post-tender review meetings
  • Ensure all proposals are prepared and submitted in line with clients’ tender programme requirements
  • Gathering information from internal departments to feed into PQQ, RFI and EOI responses
  • Tracking red reviews and content received from bid writers. Communicating the bid status to the wider team

About You:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent – preferably in a subject with a focus on creating high quality written work
  • Previous experience of producing proposals or tender documents, ideally for a main contractor within construction, civil engineering or related industries
  • Excellent graphic design sensibilities and creative flair, with the ability to create stand-out submissions which appeal to clients and effectively communicate the Galliford Try brand
  • Strong capability in use of the Adobe Creative Suite – in particular InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat Pro
  • Strong capability in MS Office software, e.g. Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Scrupulous eye for detail, and high regard for accuracy
  • Excellent written English and communication skills
  • Flexibility to meet time pressures to deliver high quality submissions on time
  • A self-starter who can manage their own time and proactively seeks and executes activities that will add value to their function
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to reach out to internal and external stakeholders
  • A desire to pursue innovation and continuous improvement throughout Building North West’s work winning collateral
