Description
Purpose:
The success of any qualitative research workshop relies heavily on the accurate and comprehensive documentation of discussions and insights. These workshops ( Endpoint workshop and validation workshop) are designed to gather rich, detailed data that reflects participants’ experiences, opinions, and perspectives. Note-takers play a pivotal role in this process, ensuring that every key point, idea, and nuance is meticulously recorded. This documentation will serve as a critical resource for researchers to analyze trends, develop conclusions, and inform decision-making. The selected note-takers will contribute significantly to the quality and reliability of the research outcomes.
Engagement:
- Attend all pre-workshop briefings to understand the workshop objectives, agenda, and note-taking guidelines.
- Familiarize themselves with the key themes, discussion topics, and tools used during the sessions.
- Record all discussions, key points, and participant interactions in real-time during the workshop sessions.
- Capture participants’ responses verbatim, where feasible, ensuring that nuances and diverse perspectives are accurately documented.
- Note non-verbal cues, such as body language, tone, and group dynamics, that contribute to a richer understanding of the discussions.
- Document questions, suggestions, and feedback provided by participants.
- Structure notes in a logical and coherent format, categorizing them by session, topic, or theme as per the workshop agenda.
- Highlight recurring themes, challenges, and key insights that emerge during the discussions.
- Handle all participant information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Ensure professionalism in capturing sensitive or emotionally charged discussions, particularly in workshops addressing vulnerable populations or sensitive topics.
- Coordinate with facilitators and researchers to ensure alignment on data collection priorities and methods.
- Provide input on improving data collection processes if required.
Delivery:
- Submit detailed, well-organized notes based on the template provided for each session within the agreed-upon timeframe.
- Produce a summary report highlighting the main themes, insights, and conclusions of the workshop, if requested.
- All the deliverables must be submitted in English language.
