About the Role:My client is seeking a dynamic, driven and proactive Sales & Events Manager to join their prestigious team, overseeing sales and events across two sites including one Michelin-starred restaurant.This is a hands-on, high-energy role that requires a proven sales performer with a passion for hospitality, a knack for building relationships, and a keen eye for creating exclusive dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-end, luxury environments and thrive in both proactive and reactive sales settings.You will be responsible for generating and converting new sales leads, overseeing private dining and exclusive hires, and managing a team of events coordinators to ensure flawless execution. This role demands a sales superstar who can hit targets, build strong client relationships, and elevate our brand presence in the market.Key Responsibilities:Sales-Oriented:
- Proactively identify new sales opportunities for private dining, exclusive hires, and special events.
- Reactively manage incoming inquiries and leads, converting them into successful bookings.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, driving the overall growth of the events business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and event planners.
Event Management:
- Oversee all event sales, ensuring they align with the brand’s high standards and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Manage the private dining rooms (PDRs) and exclusive hires, ensuring each event is tailored to the client’s requirements.
- Coordinate with the Events Coordinator to ensure all event logistics, planning, and operational details are executed seamlessly.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate the events coordinator who handles the planning and on-the-day operations.
- Provide guidance and support in sales strategies and customer interactions to ensure the team meets targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and ongoing referrals.
- Act as the main point of contact for client’s pre-event, ensuring all their needs are met in advance.
Brand Representation:
- Represent the restaurants at industry events, client meetings, and during meet and greet at events, ensuring the brand’s luxury image is upheld.
Ideal Candidate:Experience:
- Proven experience in sales and events management within the luxury hospitality sector, ideally with Michelin-star or high-end restaurant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies.
- Strong network within the hospitality and events industry, including high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
Skills:
- Exceptional sales skills with a results-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A passion for luxury hospitality and creating unique, high-end events.
