This position report directly to Director, Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator in charge. RAREC is open to the public with reservations, which means we do not receive constant visitors on a daily basis. Instead, we offer some days of the week an education tour only with reservations, where any member of the team can assist walking with the visitors and explain our work as much with the animals as with the communities.
RAREC is a rapidly growing not-for-profit and needs to grow its followers and supporters accordingly in order to increase financial income and realize development plans.
Tasks:
- Create content and schedule social media updates about volunteer activities, animal updates and marketing of programs and fundraising.
- Receive donations of material brought by some volunteers, take photos and make thank you posts about it.
- Keep and update albums of pictures and videos, asking collaboration of volunteers, former volunteers and staff.
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content weekly in FB, IG and other convenient social media platforms.
- Offer volunteers and interns different ways to contribute to the project before leaving, such as buying t-shirts and key rings, or other items to remember their stay.
- Urge volunteers and interns to support the project by tagging RAREC in their activity posts during their stay.
- Provide management support for individual giving and community fundraising.
- Manage and develop strong relationships with individual sponsors, ensuring they are kept fully informed and receive their sponsorship updates.
- Monitor various sources of funding information, identify, create and evaluate funding opportunities.

- Updating the online shop
- Help Volunteer Coordinator with administrative tasks specially to keep well informed the staff and volunteers about RAREC endeavors, advances, plans, etc., with great dynamics of communications that can include presentations
- Keep former volunteers active, encouraging them to send their comments or reviews in principal volunteers’ platforms.
- Help Volunteer Coordinator driving the car to do some outside activities.
