ISSTechnical Services ManagerLocation: Northampton, NN1 4ENHours of work: 40Contract Type: PermanentOne of the UK’s leading Facilities Management providers is expanding their Technical Engineering team to support a key client’s flagship campus in Northampton.This site serves a global corporate banking organisation and is classified as “Mission Critical” to their UK operations.Job DescriptionThe campus features a wide array of complex M&E systems ranging from low and high voltage infrastructure to advanced HVAC solutions.With over 2,000 personnel on site and significant refurbishment and construction projects underway, this dynamic environment presents a demanding but rewarding engineering challenge.Set in a leafy, lakeside campus with extensive leisure and amenity facilities, this modern, fast-paced site offers an exceptional opportunity for a Technical Manager looking to take ownership of engineering delivery on a world-class scale.Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and support across the site, reviewing SOPs, EOPs, compliance requirements, and driving operational efficiencies in BAU activities.
• Act as a vital liaison between the BAU engineering teams and the Project function, representing the client’s interests in project meetings to ensure seamless integration of new works with ongoing site operations.
• Champion continuous improvement and best practice across engineering delivery, balancing day-to-day maintenance demands with strategic project collaboration.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• A well-qualified Technical Manager with a strong background in the built environment, ideally with experience in corporate or high-pressure facilities.
• Comfortable operating within a fast-changing, transformational setting, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive technical excellence.
• Experienced in managing complex M&E systems including electrical infrastructure and HVAC in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
• Adept at balancing operational and project priorities to maintain site integrity and maximise efficiency.
