Our client, a global supplier of food ingredients is looking to hire experienced Shipping & Logistics professionals to be based in Central London, near Liverpool Street.Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with freight forwarders and shipping lines
• Process purchase orders using internal system
• Review import documentation
• Arrange import and export of goods
• Book deliveries to warehouses and to customers
• Negotiate best prices for shipping products worldwide
• Liaise with customers worldwide ensuring a high level of service is delivered

Key Requirements:

• Experience working in Shipping, Logistics or Freight Forwarding
• Knowledge of import and export procedures in the UK and EU
• Fluent English, additional language skills welcomed
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication and IT skills
