Context
UNV provides UN Volunteers’ capacity building and learning opportunities through a mechanism called the Capacity Development and Learning Facility (CDLF). As part of the CDLF activities for 2026, UNV Brazil organized a two-day workshop focused on Effective Communication skills for serving UN Volunteers in the PISTA project (Programa Parque de Inovação Social, Tecnológica e Ambiental). The workshop will take place on 6th and 7th of July in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The CDLF’s Effective Communication workshop is designed to help UN Volunteers build strong, confident communication skills. Through hands-on strategies and real-life examples, the course teaches communicating with clarity and professionalism, navigating diverse cultural communication styles, delivering impactful messages in public speaking settings, and giving and receiving feedback with confidence and purpose.
