About the Position 

The Influencer Campaign Manager develops, implements, and analyzes the University’s influencer marketing strategy across all social media and marketing platforms. The individual expertly manages the full cycle of influencer marketing campaigns, develops campaign briefs, analyzes influencer marketing success and return on investment (ROI), and uses those insights in future campaigns. The Influencer Campaign Manager adapts swiftly to evolving social media and influencer trends, and collaboratively oversees the development of a high volume of content aligned with campaign goals with stakeholders and marketing leadership. The individual fosters innovative approaches to streamline campaign processes and maximize impact, all while maintaining a strong commitment to brand safety and adherence to regulations in a dynamic and growing industry.

What You’ll Do: 

1. Develop and implement creative influencer marketing campaigns, including defining campaign objectives, target audiences and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage the full cycle of influencer marketing campaigns. Incorporate deep understanding of university and marketing initiatives, always changing social media and influencer trends; shift quickly to work with influencers to create content that resonates with the target audience, platform best practices, and aligns with campaign goals. 

2. Develop innovative and detailed influencer marketing briefs that align with marketing, industry, and legal requirements, while still meeting business objectives. Develop campaign timelines and keep projects on schedule. Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure smooth project execution. 

3. Manage communication, negotiation and collaboration with influencer management solutions and collaboration with outside agencies. Research, manage, and foster relationships with influencer partners that fit the University’s brand and campaign objectives both short and long term. 

4. Oversee all aspects of influencer content management. Organize influencer marketing content and advertisements effectively to streamline campaign management and reporting. Ensure all content follows licensing requirements, commercial rights, and meets legal specifications. Maintain a repository of influencer content for reference and analysis. Identify opportunities to leverage content in other areas of marketing to scale and maximize impact. 

5. Act as a central point of contact between peers and stakeholders, leveraging effective communication and collaboration for successful social media campaigns and projects in both organic and paid, including collaborating with several stakeholders at each point in the campaign lifespan, understanding overall University messaging, and meeting marketing goals. 

6. Play a pivotal role in analyzing the University’s influencer marketing campaign success and return on investment (ROI). Constantly evaluate influencer campaign processes to identify obstacles and improvements to scale influencer marketing further. Present findings to stakeholders and leadership, leveraging insights for informed decision-making and the enhancement of future campaigns and larger influencer marketing concepts. 

7. Swiftly incorporate campaign insights and learnings into future planning, influencer campaign development, and strategies, ensuring the influencer marketing efforts continually evolve to meet the program’s goals and objectives. 

8. Firmly grasp and enforce brand safety by developing and communicating messaging guidelines and processes that result in influencer content and advertisements that meet all FTC guidelines, industry regulations, University legal requirements, and maintains overall brand safety. Flag any concerning content and work closely with creator and/or influencer solution to update and incorporates learnings into future guidelines to mitigate risk. Work closely with legal and public relations, to manage and document all brand safety concerns and feedback until content is in a final approved state. 

9. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

 MINIMUM EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field & Three (3) years of experience in an influencer marketing, project management or marketing role • OR Seven (7) years of experience in an influencer marketing manager role


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Strong ability to analyze data, campaign metrics, and assessing the success of influencer marketing campaigns with differing goals 

• Strong, proven operational management skills with experience managing multiple projects at once. 

• Strong understanding of influencer marketing and social content spaces 

• Strong ability to drive results through collaboration; effective communication skills to communicate the business strategy and how work aligns to broader goals 

• Exceptional grammar, organizational and creative thinking skills. 

• Superior understanding of social media properties, user communications and computer skills • Experience with diverse influencer management tools 

• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Pay Range


The annual pay range for this position is $54,400 (minimum), $81,200 (midpoint), and $108,000 (maximum).*

*Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
