Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a well experienced Resident Engineer to support projects located within the New York, NY area.

Serves as technical expert in field inspections ad audits, recognized as the ‘go-to’ expert internally and externally
-
Provides guiding direction for inspections on engagements.

Sets direction and goals for inspection and/or business line.
-
External spokesperson on technical project issues.
-
Leads the audit strategy for individual’s area of expertise.

Key point of contact for engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team.

Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties

Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records

Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning

Tracks quality assurance progress

Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers

Maintain inspections and inspection records
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
-
High School Diploma plus 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Preferred Qualifications

NY NJ Metro Agency Experience
-
Experience with punch lists, testing, and commissioning
-
Experience tracking quality assurance progress

Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation ([insert state] locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $55 – $89/hr
