We invite competent, experienced, and committed professionals to fill the following position:

The Program Operations Manager – Lanao del Sur will oversee the development, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of sponsorship and grant-funded projects within the Lanao Del Sur program area. S/he will ensure that all projects and processes are aligned with the Country Strategy, gender-transformative programming, influencing and advocacy, and other organizational internal approaches, as well as, performing and compliant with donor regulations and expectations. The role is expected to lead and may likewise be designated as Emergency Response Manager in any disaster response where necessary.

Further, as the Program Operations Manager:

  • You will develop a program area annual plan, factoring in sponsorship, regular programs, and grant-funded projects.
  • You will monitor sponsorship growth and manage the caseload plan.
  • You will oversee the management of the program area’s budget and ensure proper utilization according to donor and management expectations.
  • You will facilitate the conduct of regular program reviews with partners to assess projects’ short-, medium- and long-term impact.
  • You will represent Plan International Pilipinas at the Mindanao Humanitarian Team, relevant clusters and working groups, BARMM Rapid Emergency Action on Disaster Incidence (READI), and other regional and national meetings.

 DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful in the role you will need among other things:

  • Graduate with a relevant degree and 3-4 years relevant experience or demonstrated equivalent combination.
  • Able to influence others’ behavior through effective relationship building.
  • Able to demonstrate sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Very good computer applications knowledge.
  • Flexible and has a good command of both oral and written English and good human relations.
  • This role requires fieldwork. Applicant must be open and able to conduct fieldwork in areas covered by Plan International Pilipinas.
  • Applicants must be based in the Philippines and a Filipino national.
