The Role:

 

To be responsible and accountable for conducting partner organization assessments, preparing reports, and submitting them to the assessment team for review, assist proposal development process and making grant agreement to ensure delivery of EWCSA project impactfully.

 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Planning the process, coordinating the local NGOs and conducting the partners assessment process
  • Apply partnership assessment tools for the partner’s assessment and selection consistently and thoroughly during all sub-grant selection processes.
  • Customize partnership assessment tools as per partnership assessment needs and facilitate partnership assessment considering feminist partnership and gender inclusion.
  • Organize, manage, and take responsibility for a transparent partner selection process to deliver an impactful project/programme
  • Prepare corrective action plan so that risks are appropriately identified, discussed, and planned to review progress.
  • Field and partner office visits and proactively working with the partner selection team to accurately assess the capability of the partner organisation using the relevant assessment tools.
  • Ensuring partner selection reports are finalised on time and include comprehensive information and documentation of the assessment process.
  • Proactively identifying improvements to the partner selection procedure and working with colleagues from other functions to design and implement changes to selection and assessment tools, procedures, or documentation.
  • Support selected partners to carry out a self-capacity assessment, highlighting areas in need of support and agreeing on a capacity development plan.
  • Assist developing project proposal, budget of selected organizations
  • Assist preparing grant agreement with finally selected NGOs
  • Need-based support for facilitating partnership dialogues, reviews and health-checks for selected projects/programmes.

Any other works, assigned by the organization.

 

What we are looking for:

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in delivering program through partner organizations. Experienced in partner organization management, review and project cycle management in any reputed national or international organizations.
  • Minimum Graduation on Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, Social Studies or other relevant discipline Graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline, preferably in the social sciences with at least 2 years’ experience of similar work.
  • Proven knowledge of partnership management and review procedure.
  • Self-management including ability to prioritise own workload and work independently and commitment to meet deadlines.
