Under direct supervision, assist with the execution of marketing programs that enable programs, services,  events and/or products to meet business objectives.

This position reports to the Stanford Career Education Director of Marketing & Communications.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in coordinating social media efforts and with Instagram is a must.
  • Demonstrated experience working on a marketing team with exposure to marketing trends and campaigns.
  • Experience with Canva, Asana, Excel, and Mailchimp platforms are highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Reliable self-starter with ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate in a creative environment.
  • Excellent design skills for use in developing flyers, social media posts, and other marketing materials.
  • Ability to write compelling written copy to engage student audience.
  • Ability to analyze data and measure impact of marketing efforts and refine approach as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Superb team player with the demonstrated ability to collaborate with Stanford staff and students.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
  • Frequently stand/walk, sit, use a telephone, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, speaking.
  • Occasionally grasp forcefully, writing by hand.
  • Rarely sort/file paperwork.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This is a hybrid position requiring three days of onsite work per week and more as needed to meet student and departmental needs.
  • Able to work on evenings and weekends, as needed.

The expected pay range for this position is $34.13 per hr to $36 per hr.
