As the Head of Pricing you will:
- Lead a team of pricing experts and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization (business development, product management, strategy, legal, back-office implementation);
- Define pricing principles and strategy in order to shape the revenue model of the company;
- Build pricing proposals on new products and revisit prices for existing products based on a deep understanding of the value they generate to clients, associated impact on company financials, competition and market dynamics as well as the company strategic objectives;
- Model complex business and pricing simulations to support strategic decisions;
- Ensure sound pricing governance and processes;
- Communicate on pricing developments within the organisation and to clients;
- Articulate and defend pricing proposals towards senior management and executives.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Management or Engineering is required;
- At least 12 years of professional experience, including experience in Pricing, and experience as people manager;
- Strong business acumen and Pricing expertise: stays on top of industry dynamics, has interest in understanding the business of SWIFT, articulates and defines a direction taking into account customer needs and company strategy, has experience with developing pricing proposals and/or has participated in revenue model transformation projects;
- Sharp analytical skills and ability to think out of the box: solves complex problems, is proficient in modelling and analysing data, demonstrates high intellectual curiosity and creativity, is comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities, is capable to innovate and challenge the status-quo;
- Solid track record of leading teams: has experience managing a team of experts, builds and cultivates diverse teams that are empowered to achieve results and find creative solutions, shows genuine interest in people, develops and grows individuals, acts with integrity, respect, fairness and inclusivity;
- Operational excellence in the execution of core activities: drives results as per planned roadmaps and objectives, explains intent behind goals and expectations, ensures high quality outcomes;
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills: collaborates as one across the organization, establishes constructive relationships with key stakeholders, is able to influence without authority, communicates in a clear and transparent way, proficient in developing quality presentations for an executive audience.
