Job Duties • Assist Parking Office with administrative duties as needed.
• Assist EHS/Risk Management Department with administrative duties as needed.
• Report safety concerns through approved process.
• Assist with building inspections.
• Assist with yearly campus hurricane preparation.
• Assist with fire safety equipment inspections.
• Any other assignments specific to achieving program’s mission statement.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a registered undergraduate student at Lamar University
  • Must have a current minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Must be available to work during the hours of 8:00 am –5:00 pm Monday–Friday and once a week from 6:00-8:00 pm
  • If work-study eligible, must submit a copy of Financial Aid Award Letter for 2023-2024 academic year (Summer and/or Fall)
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to work efficiently and accurately
  • Must be prompt and dependable
Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Certifications Required
Work Hours Up to 19.5 hours per week
Job Conditions Must be able to perform physical work in conditions that include hot and cold weather
