Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

§ Channeling the communication among the Project Manager and the staff (context, challenge, needs, activities);

§ Planning the activities of the project, together with the Project Manager;

§ Coordinating the overall field work with a daily presence to oversee the day-to-day activities: checking that activities are delivered following established plans and standards;

§ Ensuring the proper implementation of the established qualitative objectives by creating an effective monitoring plan together with the Project Manager and regularly following up the plan;

§ Reporting daily to the Project Manager about activities conducted, core issues and possible challenges;

§ Monitoring that the database related to the data collected by the staff is regularly updated;

§ Based on the needs of the project, the coordinator will collect the data needed and/or draft the needed report;

§ Coordinating all logistics works (collect needs of the project, prepare a PR and follow up on it, plan and monitor staff transportation, check the material delivered to the field) and monitoring its progress against the project targets;

§ Ensuring the proper usage of the project material and properties (inventory list, labeled material, avoid waste) and keep the warehouse goods clean and tidy.

§ Ensuring all TdH unit are safe environment for PoCs.

§ Supporting the Project Manager in ensuring the safety of the staff when travelling to the project locations; in emergency locations the Project Coordinator will act as security focal point following the Project Manager guidelines;

§ After PM approval, PC should maintain communication channel with Fleet manager.

§ Ensuring all the staffs got the related trainings and develop capacity building plan for staffs.

§ Ensuring the staff’s regular presence, authorizing the leaves (if less than 3 days), keeping record of the leaves, collect the attendance sheet at the end of the month and distribute it at the beginning of each month. Ensure the attendance sheets are filled and signed daily and in an accurate manner;

§ Assisting the Project manager in implementing the evaluation of the staff.

§ Making sure the behavior of the staff during working hours is coherent with TDH policies and code of conduct;

§ Coordinating and monitoring any required assessment;

§ Maintaining an overview of all cases referred to and from the project or other stakeholders internally and externally under the supervision of the Project Manager;

§ Coordinating with other actors operating in the areas of the project;

§ Supporting Project Manager with translation whenever needed;

§ Solving minor conflicts among the staff under the direct supervision of the Project Manager;

§ Facilitating communication with the local community/ authorities and with other stakeholders present in the project locations;

§ Under specific circumstances the Project Coordinator can deliver the salaries to remote locations when authorized by the Project Manager;

§ Attend all the relevant meeting and share MoM with PM and related staffs.

§ Support other project staffs as per needed.

§ Conduct regular meetings and induction on CoC, CPP, Staff internal regulation, PSEA and CSP.

§ Ensure that the health teams have access to safety equipment appropriate to their activities (e.g., PEP kits, gloves, etc.).

§ Any other duties assigned by line manager

BA in Social Sciences or any other relevant fields (qualification in Education would be an asset);

At least 3 years relevant professional experience in similar position in humanitarian sector (previous experience with INGOs is an asset);

Competence, skills and a solid commitment in promoting inclusion, the principles of development and the organizational goals of TDH It;

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with all involved stakeholders and partners;

Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team;

Sound organizational, problem solving and reporting skills.

 

Language and Computer skills:

Strong English, Arabic and Kurdish language skills both written and verbal.

Good computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point).
