Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 130 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students.
We now invite applications for the position of Senior Assistant Manager, Marketing Communications & Management.
Reporting to the Assistant Director, EEE Students Office in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the incumbent plays a vital role in elevating the school’s visibility and reputation, attracting potential students and industry collaborations, and effectively conveying the school’s accomplishments and offerings to a broader audience.
Through strategic promotion of the school’s programs and research initiatives, the incumbent will actively contribute to the university’s overarching goal of fostering innovation, academic excellence, and strong industry partnerships within the field of electrical and electronic engineering.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Marketing Campaigns

Create and execute marketing campaign with focus on social media

Manage marketing campaigns and activities of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes

Build strong brand identity and image through communications about school’s research achievements, awards, student & alumni features etc.

Production of collaterals, online content, videos and other publicity materials

Analyse current marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
Content Generation & Management

Generate and manage content ideas (including but not limited to copy, visuals, infographics, etc.) for EDMs, social media, student blogs
-
Work closely with our undergraduate and postgraduate Academic Programmes Office team and other stakeholders to act as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of online communications as well as tone of voice of copy
Outreach & Promotion

Increase engagement with students and alumni through events and initiatives

Communication outreach to Alumni and support for alumni activities
-
Communication support for Outreach and Open House activities
-
Plan and organize the logistics of offline and online outreach events to promote undergraduate and postgraduate programmes

Design publicity materials and campaigns to promote outreach events, as well as post-event engagements
-
Support official events, conferences, seminars, MOU signing, visitors etc.
Requirements:

Degree in media-related field with at least 6 years of relevant working experience in media-related field

Marketing and advertising principles, including market segmentation, targeting, and promotional strategies

Proficiency in digital marketing tools, platforms, and analytics for effective campaign management

Content creation and copywriting skills for various marketing materials
-
Graphic design and visual communication expertise for creating visually appealing content
-
Video production and editing skills to create and edit marketing videos
-
Strategic thinking and ability to develop long-term marketing communication plans
-
Leadership and team management skills to guide and inspire marketing professionals
-
Excellent communication, writing, and video editing skills to convey ideas effectively
-
Analytical mindset for data-driven decision-making and proficiency in digital marketing techniques
