1. Internship Topic

Design & create Proof of Concept (POC) of various analytical & predictive tools related to financial projection modelling.

 

2. Summary of Job Description

The candidate will design & provide POC of various analytical and predictive tools related to financial projection modelling, that will help us make better financial decisions and optimize & reduce our costs. The candidate will work on a pilot portfolio and design & develop POC of tools for:

– Disbursement prediction

– Funding gap analysis and related cost-pass through (transfer pricing)

– Capital requirement

He/She will collaborate with our experienced team of financial engineers and analysts from Quantitative and Analysis Unit (in coordination with Financial Policy team members), who will mentor and give feedback throughout the project.

 

3. Period of Assignment

Duration: 9-11 Weeks

Timing: June 2024 onwards

 

4. Location

ADB HQ, Manila

 

5. Expected Outcomes

Design & proof of concept of at least two Python based predictive analytics related to financial projection modelling.

 

Qualifications

6. Education Requirement

Masters/PhD in Financial Engineering / Computer Science / Applied Mathematics. Candidate must be currently enrolled.

 

7. Relevant Experience

Financial engineering with python programming skills.

Desired skills: Predictive analytics/Machine Learning using Python.

 

8. Other Requirements
