The Role:

 

Oxfam Great Britain is looking for a Data & Integration Lead: your focus will be on building a new independent platform team within the Information Systems and Transformation (ISAT) division to provide data capabilities across the organization, including areas of data identification, capture, storage, and governance. You will support the development of the Oxfam data platform and associated technology roadmap and lead its delivery through engagement with specialist teams such as Information Security, as well as by building critical relationships with business stakeholders to advocate for and deliver on data led transformation. Your team will be responsible for developing an operating model that is fit for purpose and scalable across Oxfam, one that is able to deliver new data capabilities within project timelines, as well as report on divisional data maturity and readiness that will influence the team and platforms future growth. Acting as a servant leader you will support all aspects of the delivery process including managing third party suppliers, managing incidents, combining technical excellence and pragmatic business acumen.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Self-aware and able to make a positive impact on others. A history of leading or coaching multi-disciplinary team within an enterprise environment.
  • Significant experience with data and/or integration technologies, both bespoke and codeless, as well as best practices and patterns around the use such technology within modern cloud-first environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to interface with both Technical Teams and Business Leaders. A proven ability to build relationships and deliver on objectives in a pragmatic and value centric way.
  • Ability to think outside the box and create value-adding initiatives, with the ability to understand requirements and create viable solutions to meet long-term targets by leveraging your own, and your teams, expertise.
