The Role:

Oxfam in Syria is looking for To support Oxfam Syria programme in the plan and implementation of emergency and resilience water, sanitation and Hygiene promotion activities to alleviate suffering of vulnerable population affected by ongoing conflict and any future emergency in Syria. The work may involve data gathering and management, community consultation, need assessment, training and providing knowledge and means to maintain health and personal hygiene of vulnerable affected populations

ESSENTIAL
• University Degree – relevant to the position is preferable and years of experience at this level with International Agencies or NGO’s is preferable
• Knowledge of one or more of the following: public health, health or hygiene promotion, community development, education, community mobilization.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in health, public health, and hygiene promotion/education
• Design, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent knowledge of area of work and increasingly contribute to team planning.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal)
• Successfully manages conflicting priorities, and people management experience

• Takes responsibility for own work and delegated project/processes (including some leadership).
