Job Description

About the role 

Sibylline is looking for an experienced Lead EMEA Analyst, to join our team, embedded in our client’s Risk & Intelligence function. Based in London, the Lead EMEA Analyst will be responsible for researching, analysing, and building products to assess risks and opportunities around our people, operations, strategy, and brand reputation. The successful candidate will be an intelligence practitioner who has a passion for analysis, problem-solving, and advising and informing decision-makers.  

This will be a hybrid role, with some days each week spent in-person in the client’s office, generally Tuesday-Thursday. 

Responsibilities 

  • Attend Studio Security and Security Operations team meetings to collect requirements and understand priorities. 

  • Ensure proper reporting back to requesting individuals surrounding locations and titles. Managing data collection (start/stop) and provide context to the client GSOC to keep stakeholders informed. 

  • Build Event Intelligence Reports, researching and reporting risks prior to an event to assist event teams adjust levels of security.  

  • Coordinate with event leads to understand any concerns so you can help fill any gaps. 

  • Build Executive Travel Briefs ahead of planned trips, coordinating with Security Operations so they’re aware of any visits. 

  • Contribute to Weekly Ops Brief for the EMEA region. 

  • Fill in details about events (focussing on the ones our stakeholders are supporting on site) to help the GSOC stay focussed on what is happening in the near term. 

  • Social media analysis. 

  • Proactive monitoring/ research/ alerting around changing trends or potential impact to the client. 

  • Contribute to GSOC SitReps 

  • Provide Intelligence support for functional areas of expertise to include Travel Risk Management, Security Operations, and Executive Protection. 

  • Risk intelligence support to additional areas to include crisis management, enterprise risk management, and geopolitical risk management. 

  • Analyse and assess threats to our people, operations, strategy, and brand reputation. 

  • Research strategic issues affecting the company. 

  • Deliver reports, briefings, and presentations on a routine basis that help reduce uncertainty and answer priority intelligence requirements. 

  • Advise the Intelligence Manager on intelligence collection, processing, analysis, and dissemination strategies. 

  • Possess and maintain the necessary skills and confidence to provide expert advice on intelligence-related programs, regulations, industry standards, risk assessments, and related issues or questions that may arise. 

  • Drive a respectful team culture cantered on open communication, sharing, listening, and recognition of team members at all levels. 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications 

  • BA degree in International Relations or similar 

 

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in corporate intelligence or in related fields. 

  • Corporate, military, or government intelligence agency experience preferred but not required. 

  • Proven ability to work with highly confidential information. 

  • Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 

  • Strong analytic, oral, and written presentation skills including the ability to deliver communications centred on the target audience. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Web-based social media platforms, search tools, productivity applications, and communication technology. 

  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools is a plus.

Successful candidates will be invited to complete a writing assessment (at an arranged time to suit you) to test writing and analytical ability, followed by a set of psychometric tests. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to a final panel interview. In the current environment, our interviews will be conducted virtually.
